ABSTRACT
Weckowicz et al. have shown that schizophrenia tends to involve impairment in the ability to make perceptual judgments. The present paper denies, however, that Weckowicz's results support the Invariance Hypothesis or Gilinsky's theory of size and distance perception. Indeed, some aspects of the results are shown to be incompatible with these theories.
