A Controlled Trial of Methaminodiazepoxide (chlordiazepoxide, "Librium") in the Treatment of Anxiety in Neurotic Patients

ABSTRACT

A double-blind cross-over trial of placebo against methaminodiazepoxide (Librium—Roche Products) has been carried out. The results show that methaminodiazepoxide is an effective agent in the relief of anxiety in neurotic patients. The side-effects and other factors have been discussed.
