ABSTRACT
A case of juvenile amaurotic idiocy is described; a younger sibling is a mongol. Vacuolation of lymphocytes was seen in peripheral blood smears; no abnormality was seen in the lymphocytes of other members of the family. This observation may have some diagnostic value in neuronal lipidosis.
