Video-Tape Recording as an Aid to Behaviour Therapy

The case of a 40-year-old man with severe phobic and obsessive-compulsive symptoms of many years duration is described. He was successfully treated with systematic desensitization, first in imagination and later in real-life situations. In this instance, closed-circuit television proved to be a useful and essential adjunct to successful treatment.
