1 Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, Knowle Hospital, Fareham, Hampshire.
Forty married women with sexual problems were studied prospectively by interview, attitude scales and the Eysenck Personality Inventory. Seventeen patients substantially improved during treatment. Improvement was associated with the following variables before treatment: a better relationship with husband, more anxiety and a slightly higher N score.
