The husbands of agoraphobic women and their influence on treatment outcome

Thirty-three married women, all agoraphobic but most with additional phobias, were exposed to a standard four-day intensive behavioural treatment programme as out-patients. The effects of this on the patients and their spouses throughout a one-year follow-up are reported and discussed.
