- The common clinical manifestations of schizophrenic psychosis as found in military psychiatry, and its differential diagnosis, are described.
- The clinical and prognostic characteristics of the two main types, dysoxic and dysglycolytic, are differentiated and described.
- The favourable prognosis in the majority of the cases is indicated.
- The importance of early and energetic therapy is emphasized.
