ABSTRACT
- A complex syndrome which includes spatial disorientation, constructional apraxia, Gerstmann's syndrome and dressing disability has been described, following carbon monoxide poisoning.
- It is considered that a bilateral parieto-occipital lesion underlies the main symptoms.
- There was no lucid interval following the stage of acute intoxication.
- The case has been observed for five years. Mental deterioration came on early, and has persisted. The total improvement has been slight.
- Brief reference has been made to the relevant literature.
