ABSTRACT

A case of repeated psychosis due to amphetamine has been described in an addict.

The psychosis produced was in keeping with the personality, as occurred in other cases reported.

The incongruity in the law governing the sale of amphetamine is noted, and the possible need for a different type of inhaler.

Vitamin C may prove useful in the therapy of overdosage.

Received for publication May 25, 1950.
