The authors (Andrews G et al, 2003) state that 85% of Australians live in urban regions. Readers may wish to note that catchment areas exist where domicillary visits involve a four-wheel drive vehicle with a 4 -hour round trip, and 90 kilometre drives to outpatient centres. Interestingly the RANZCPsych considers these jobs as part of urban training rotations.
