Clinical Features of Depression and the Response to Imipramine (“Tofranil”)
J. J. Fleminger, Bernard M. Groden

Fifty-five patients with depressive illness were treated with imipramine. Response to the drug after one month was recorded as either Good or Bad. 30 patients (55 per cent.) made a Good response. Twelve features of the depressive state and several other clinical factors were found to have no significant relation to the response to the drug.
