Abstract

The action of a new anti-Parkinson drug, Tremonil (methixene hydrochloride) in drug-induced Parkinsonism was compared, in a controlled study on 57 chronic schizophrenic patients, with the effect of two established drugs. Although Tremonil had a slightly greater effect on tremor, the differences between the three drugs were slight, and were not statistically significant.
