Reliability and validity of the CANDID — a needs assessment instrument for adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems, BJP, 176, 473-478. In the description of “Socio-demographic characteristics and needs profile of the study sample”, the fourth sentence of the second paragraph (p. 475, col. 1) should read:

“The mean duration of the interviews at T 1 was 28.25 minutes (s.d.=7.84) for users, 29.56 (s.d.=6.52) for carers and 27.42 (s.d.=5.00) for staff”.
